Robert Walters has released the 23rd edition of its Salary Survey, presented in a brand-new digital format. The Salary Survey not only provides a comprehensive salary guide for both hiring managers and job seekers, it also includes video updates on market conditions in various sectors from our industry experts.

Whilst Singapore’s hiring market back in 2020 was largely conservative, 2021 was anything but that. With businesses' robust hiring activity, we saw an increase in job flow across all divisions, both permanent and contract roles.

“The economy is expected to bounce back going into 2022, where hiring trends will mainly be focused around people and technology. With the acceleration of digital transformation, the key areas of hiring demand will be continued in technology talents across commerce and financial services. We will also foresee a low supply and high demand in tech professionals, especially in AI, machine learning, data, cybersecurity, digital, and e-commerce. On a macro level, we have also seen a further drive to hire Singaporean talent – and one key takeaway to do so is by attracting back overseas-based Singaporeans.,” said Monty Sujanani, Country Manager, Singapore, Robert Walters.
