What you'll do:

As a Human Resources Manager in Singapore, you will play an integral part in advancing the organisation’s people agenda by delivering strategic HR solutions tailored to business needs.

  • Drive the end-to-end performance management process by facilitating goal setting, coaching sessions, regular reviews, and comprehensive development planning for all employees.
  • Coach managers and team members on best practices in performance management to nurture a positive and high-achieving workplace culture.
  • Develop and manage effective hiring strategies that address evolving workforce needs while ensuring a seamless recruitment process for key roles.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers on workforce planning initiatives and oversee the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, programmes, and initiatives that are aligned with overall business goals and local regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal standards by keeping up-to-date with relevant legislation and applying best practice solutions.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns by providing guidance, empathetic support, and resolution strategies that foster trust.
  • Promote a positive employee experience through proactive engagement activities and clear communication channels across all levels of the organisation.
  • Support change management efforts by collaborating with leadership on succession planning, talent development strategies, and organisational effectiveness projects.
  • Monitor key HR metrics using data-driven insights to inform decision-making processes and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.

What you bring:

To excel as a Human Resources Manager in this role, you will bring proven experience managing complex HR operations within large organisations—ideally spanning multiple countries or regions.

  • A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in human resources with at least 2 years spent in a managerial or lead capacity overseeing diverse teams or projects.
  • Regional exposure across Asia-Pacific or Southeast Asia which enables you to navigate cultural nuances and regulatory requirements effectively.
  • Comprehensive understanding of core HR functions including talent management frameworks, employee relations protocols, and recruitment methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while collaborating cross-functionally within complex organisational structures.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law combined with practical application of HR best practices tailored to local contexts.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills allowing you to build trust-based relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • High emotional intelligence coupled with discretion when handling sensitive issues or confidential information within the workplace.
  • Proactive mindset focused on finding solutions collaboratively while taking ownership of outcomes that benefit both employees and the organisation.
  • Excellent organisational abilities supported by strong time-management skills which ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality or accuracy.
