Payroll & Tax Analyst - Financial Services
Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Payroll & Tax Analyst to join their team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work independently on end-to-end payroll for their offices in Asia and Australia, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of regional tax & social insurance requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks including payroll, bonus payments, pension plan administration and off-cycle payments.
What you'll do:
As a Payroll & Tax Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's payroll operations across Asia and Australia. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you research and resolve errors identified during the monthly payroll process and bonus payments. You will also be responsible for validating overtime claims for accuracy, coordinating with various teams to ensure updated payments and deductions are timely incorporated in payroll. Your keen eye for detail will be essential as you verify all data entry and calculations performed by 3rd party payroll service providers.
- Run Workday reports for payroll changes, audit data accuracy and prepare manual inputs from various source data for upload to payroll service provider’s systems
- Validate overtime claims for accuracy and highlight discrepancies/issues
- Coordinate internally with HR Shared Services, US payroll and Global Mobility team to ensure updated payments and deductions are timely incorporated in payroll
- Research and resolve errors identified during the monthly payroll process and bonus payments
- Verify all data entry and calculations performed by 3rd party payroll service providers is accurate
- Prepare funding requests to Treasury and ensure funding is accurate and timely
- Validate monthly earnings reports uploaded from 3rd party payroll vendor systems are accurately reflected in Workday

Your strong problem-solving skills enable you to research and resolve any errors identified during the monthly payroll process. Your experience in preparing funding requests to Treasury and proficiency in using Workday or similar HRIS system will be highly valuable in this role.
