A leading global financial institution is hiring a Deputy Director for its Portfolio Management team in the Asian Investment Banking Division. Based in Singapore, you'll lead teams managing structured finance portfolios across project finance and real estate sectors, covering infrastructure, energy, utilities, shipping, petrochemical sectors etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Project Finance (PF) and Real Estate (RE) portfolio teams across Asia, overseeing structured finance assets in sectors like infrastructure, renewables, utilities, shipping, and real estate.
• Partner with Origination and Distribution teams on deal structuring, refinancing, and secondary loan sales.
• Assess and mitigate credit risks through ongoing asset monitoring, early identification of risks, and proactive solutions.
• Maintain client relationships, resolve issues proactively, and drive stakeholder alignment.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, manage internal reporting, and improve operational efficiency.
• Mentor staff, lead recruitment, and contribute to strategic planning.

Requirements:

• 18+ years in credit and risk analysis, preferably in project/structured finance.
• Proven leadership of regional teams in banking or project finance.
• Strong experience in loan documentation, financial modelling, and credit committee presentations.
• A degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, or a related field, with advanced knowledge of structured finance products.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on ability to analyse complex financial scenarios and lead change management projects.
