  • Be part of an inclusive workplace where your attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and commitment to high-quality client service will be recognised and valued.

What you'll do:

As an Operations Officer in Singapore, you’ll play a key role in supporting fund managers with day-to-day operational needs. Your responsibilities include managing back-office functions such as reconciliations, NAV reviews, investor reporting, and maintaining internal databases. You'll also assist in audits, KYC updates, and board resolutions. Clear communication, attention to detail, and strong collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders will be essential as you ensure smooth operations and uphold compliance standards in a fast-paced fund management environment.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for allocated fund managers, ensuring all operational needs are met with efficiency and care.
  • Oversee day-to-day back-office operations including accounting processes, reconciliation tasks, processing wiring instructions, reviewing NAV calculations, preparing investor statements, and updating databases accurately.
  • Assist with the financial audit process for various funds by providing timely documentation and liaising with auditors as required.
  • Handle ad-hoc duties such as KYC refreshers requested by counterparties, preparation of board resolutions, account opening procedures, and other compliance-related activities.
  • Maintain comprehensive logs of all tasks and activities to ensure transparency and accountability within the team.
  • Develop and implement both short-term and long-term goals in alignment with organisational objectives to drive continuous improvement in operational processes.
  • Communicate regularly with Team Leaders and Management regarding daily matters, updates on projects, or any issues requiring escalation.
  • Implement decisions made by Team Leaders and Management promptly while ensuring all actions align with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Promote teamwork by collaborating closely with staff members, clients, peers, and external service providers to deliver excellent service outcomes.
  • Support allocated projects independently from initiation through completion while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

What you bring:

To succeed as an Operations Officer, you should have a strong academic background and hands-on experience in hedge fund or asset management operations. Your familiarity with the industry allows you to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively. You bring both technical skills and strong interpersonal abilities, building trust through clear communication and collaboration. With a sharp eye for detail, you manage reconciliations, regulatory documents, and audits with precision. Adaptable and dependable, you navigate change with ease—whether adopting new systems or meeting tight deadlines. Your passion for supporting others makes you a valued team player in any high-performing environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field is required to ensure foundational knowledge relevant to the role.
  • 4-5 years’ proven experience in hedge fund middle or back-office operations (such as Hedge Fund Accountant or Fund Accountant) is essential for handling complex operational tasks.
  • Demonstrated understanding of asset management or hedge funds industry practices is necessary for effective performance in this position.
  • Familiarity with operational technology systems along with best practices and procedures enhances your ability to streamline workflows efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills enable you to manage client relationships professionally while delivering high levels of service at all times.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities allow you to handle sensitive situations discreetly while building positive connections with clients and colleagues alike.
  • A collaborative approach promotes teamwork among staff members as well as external partners such as service providers or auditors.
  • Initiative-taking mindset empowers you to manage assigned projects independently from start to finish without constant supervision.
  • Exceptional attention to detail ensures that all tasks are completed thoroughly and accurately even under tight deadlines or changing priorities.
  • Adaptability allows you to thrive in environments characterised by growth or change while maintaining consistent performance.
