Our client is offering a unique and rewarding opportunity to join a brand-new asset management function within an established infrastructure credit platform. This role will allow you to utilise your skills in mandate operations, operational execution, business and stakeholder management. You will be instrumental in implementing and overseeing day-to-day operational processes for new mandate accounts, coordinating with various teams to ensure seamless mandate servicing, and providing strategic support on fund management business initiatives.

What you'll do:

As an AVP of Mandate Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's asset management function. Your primary responsibility will be to implement, oversee, document and enforce the operational processes for new mandate accounts.Your role will also involve liaising with external service providers to ensure timely preparation of deliverables. Furthermore, you will provide strategic support on fund management business initiatives by creating high-quality presentation materials and management reports.

• Set into motion day-to-day operational processes for the new mandate account(s)
• Ensure adherence to mandate-specific investment guidelines and operational requirements
• Coordinate with investment, risk, and compliance teams to maintain alignment with mandate parameters
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of mandate-specific procedures
• Create high-quality presentation materials and management reports

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the AVP of Mandate Management position brings a wealth of experience in financial services and asset or fund management operations. With a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field, you have spent at least 5-8 years honing your skills in the financial sector. Your familiarity with Singapore financial regulations (MAS) coupled with your experience in implementing or improving operational systems will be invaluable in this role. Your ability to work independently, aligning with organisational goals while building productive relationships across departments, will be key to your success.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field
• 5 to 8 years of overall experience in financial services with at least 3 to 5 years in asset or fund management operations
• Experience with infrastructure investments, credit products, or private markets
• Knowledge of separate account structures and institutional client requirements
• Familiarity with Singapore financial regulations (MAS) and experience implementing or improving operational systems
• Ability to work independently while aligning with organisational goals; a team player who builds productive relationships across departments
• Excellent judgment in balancing client needs with internal capabilities and discretion when handling sensitive business information
