What you'll do:
As a VP, Capital & Liquidity Management, you will be entrusted with driving strategic initiatives that underpin the organisation’s regional business franchise.
- Partnering with business leaders across Asia to explore new opportunities arising from shifts in the market or regulatory landscape.
- Developing frameworks that enhance subsidiary resilience, crafting strategies that balance growth with prudent risk management, and ensuring transparent decision-making processes are embedded throughout the organisation.
- Translate complex regulations into actionable insights will be crucial as you collaborate with cross-functional teams on high-impact projects.
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory policy interpretation to ensure robust corporate governance standards are maintained.
- Monitor capital usage at the entity level while supporting optimisation strategies that align with evolving business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Translate complex regulatory policies into meaningful analysis and clear documentation for internal use and external reporting.
What you bring:
To excel as VP, Capital & Liquidity Management, you will bring substantial expertise gained from senior roles within major banks or securities firms— particularly those involving oversight of subsidiary portfolios in Asia or similar regions with at least 10 years of experiences.
- Hands-on experience managing capital adequacy under Basel frameworks as well as providing nuanced regulatory advice in fast-evolving environments.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate matrix organisations confidently while delivering results under tight deadlines.
- Extensive experience communicating complex concepts clearly to executive management within culturally diverse environments.
- Strong organisational skills complemented by excellent time-management abilities for handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
