This is an exceptional opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in shaping robust financial processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting investment activities across borders.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager based in Singapore, you will be entrusted with managing every aspect of the organisation’s finance function.

  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), ensuring all transactions are properly documented and reconciled.

  • Record complex financial activities such as asset purchases or sales, foreign exchange movements, dividends, interest income, and other investment-related entries.

  • Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly management accounts complete with insightful analysis and commentary tailored for key stakeholders.

  • Monitor cash flows and investment positions on an ongoing basis to provide up-to-date information for decision-making within the family office.

  • Coordinate the year-end audit process by liaising effectively with external auditors to facilitate smooth reviews and timely completion of statutory requirements.

  • Support the preparation of statutory financial statements as well as detailed tax computations in collaboration with corporate tax agents to ensure compliant filings with authorities such as IRAS.

  • Ensure strict adherence to local accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements by maintaining thorough documentation for all cross-border transactions.

  • Help establish internal controls and best-practice documentation procedures that enable repeatable, auditable processes across all finance functions.

  • Contribute actively to the development of finance policies and filing systems as part of the ongoing setup and optimisation of the family office’s operations.

What you bring:

To excel as a Finance Manager in this family office set up, you will bring proven experience from roles where you have managed diverse finance functions within asset management firms, investment holding entities or family offices.

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline demonstrating solid academic grounding in core principles relevant to this role.

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in asset management, investment holding companies, family offices or professional services firms such as audit or tax consultancies serving similar clients.

  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting treatment for financial instruments including stocks, bonds, foreign exchange products, structured notes or similar assets.

  • Proven experience managing cross-border transactions along with intercompany accounting complexities within multi-jurisdictional environments.

  • Familiarity with Singapore’s tax landscape (IRAS) as well as regulatory frameworks governed by ACRA or MAS requirements.

  • Advanced proficiency using Excel alongside accounting software packages such as Xero or QuickBooks to streamline reporting processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to work dependably both independently and collaboratively while managing timelines efficiently under pressure.

  • Experience applying IFRS or SFRS standards for financial reporting; exposure to audit environments or CPA certification would be advantageous but not essential.

  • Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong document handling skills that ensure accuracy across all aspects of record-keeping.

  • Professional communication style marked by discretion when dealing with confidential information or sensitive stakeholder queries.
