An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accountant to join a rapidly expanding regional headquarter in Singapore. This role offers you the chance to be part of a collaborative and supportive finance team, where your expertise will help shape robust financial processes and drive operational excellence.

  • Join a regional HQ in Singapore at the heart of a fast-growing, innovative consumer products business, where your work will directly support expansion across APAC.
  • Enjoy a collaborative culture that encourages knowledge sharing, professional development, and opportunities to participate in impactful projects beyond traditional accounting duties.
  • Benefit from flexible working opportunities and exposure to cross-functional teams, giving you the platform to develop new skills and progress your career within a dynamic environment.

What you'll do:

As an Accountant based in Singapore’s regional headquarters, you will immerse yourself in a broad range of responsibilities that underpin the financial health of the organisation. Success in this position comes from your ability to balance attention to detail with big-picture thinking while working collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

  • Perform comprehensive financial accounting and controlling duties to ensure accurate and timely reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ensure full compliance with international accounting standards as well as regional statutory requirements by managing external audit processes and tax compliance activities.
  • Assist in monthly management reporting cycles, including regional consolidation tasks and preparation of group-level deliverables for senior stakeholders.
  • Research complex accounting issues, evaluate their implications, and make recommendations to achieve alignment with evolving accounting standards.
  • Participate actively in regional income tax compliance obligations by collaborating closely with local tax agents across various countries.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of financial controlling through strengthening, implementing, and enforcing robust internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Engage in continuous business maturity projects alongside finance colleagues and wider organisational teams to drive operational improvements or implement technological solutions for greater efficiency.
  • Support year-end closing activities by coordinating with operational businesses, FP&A teams, tax & treasury functions, and local auditors throughout the region.
  • Champion simplification and standardisation initiatives within finance processes to enhance accuracy and streamline workflows.
  • Provide ad hoc support on special assignments as required by the Finance Manager (APAC), demonstrating adaptability within a growing business.

What you bring:

To excel as an Accountant in this regional role, you bring more than just technical proficiency—you offer reliability, empathy for colleagues’ perspectives, and an eagerness to share knowledge within the team. Your background includes hands-on experience managing financial reporting cycles for complex organisations where accuracy is paramount. You are comfortable navigating statutory requirements across different jurisdictions while maintaining open lines of communication with both internal teams and external advisors.

  • A minimum of three years’ relevant experience in financial reporting or accounting roles within multinational or regional organisations; prior Big 4 audit experience is considered advantageous but not essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and concepts with proven ability to apply them accurately in complex scenarios.
  • Demonstrated passion for learning new skills coupled with a commitment to personal development within a collaborative team setting.
  • Exceptional organisational abilities with meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that enable effective collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external partners such as auditors or tax agents.
  • Proven track record of thriving in environments characterised by rapid change or growth; adaptable approach when faced with shifting priorities or new challenges.
  • Experience supporting statutory compliance activities including audit coordination, tax filings, or regulatory submissions across multiple regions is highly desirable.
  • Ability to contribute constructively to process improvement initiatives aimed at simplifying or standardising finance operations for greater efficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that foster trust-based relationships within cross-functional teams while promoting open communication for shared success.
