What you'll do:

As a Senior Accountant based in Singapore within this internationally recognised technology group, you will play a central role in managing financial operations for local legal entities while supporting regional collaboration across Asia Pacific. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail combined with strong interpersonal skills to foster trust among colleagues across different regions.

  • Act as the primary liaison between China and Western business units, facilitating alignment on financial reporting standards, compliance requirements, and effective communication channels.
  • Review and approve key deliverables from the Shanghai finance team to guarantee quality and consistency with group-wide policies and expectations.
  • Lead and coordinate annual statutory audits as well as tax computations for Singapore entities, ensuring all regulatory deadlines are met without exception.
  • Perform comprehensive month-end close activities including bank reconciliations, trial balance reviews, general ledger adjustments, and updating balance sheet schedules such as fixed assets, prepayments, receivables/liabilities, and work-in-progress accounts.
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for the Singapore office including journal entries, benefit postings, accruals management, pension/provident fund submissions, statutory payments, revenue recognition processes under IFRS 15 guidelines, deferred revenue schedules management, lease provider relationships for office space, ad-hoc office management tasks, cross-functional operational support including marketing event coordination.

What you bring:

To excel as a Senior Accountant in this forward-thinking organisation, you will bring proven experience gained through formal training or internships—ideally within multinational or audit settings—where you have developed robust knowledge of financial accounting principles. Your background includes recent qualification as an accountant (CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent) supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), particularly IFRS 15 relating to revenue recognition processes within multinational environments.
  • Proven track record leading statutory audits as well as preparing GST returns and ensuring full compliance with Singaporean tax regulations.
  • Solid understanding of intercompany accounting principles including transfer pricing arrangements between multiple jurisdictions within a corporate group structure.
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Excel coupled with hands-on experience operating ERP systems such as NetSuite or Microsoft Great Plains plus tools like Blackline for account reconciliation purposes.
  • Exceptional communication skills enabling clear interaction with both finance/non-finance stakeholders across multiple regions whilst promoting alignment among cross-functional teams.
  • Bilingual fluency allowing seamless engagement with colleagues throughout Asia Pacific.
