Quality Assurance Lead

About the Quality Assurance Lead Role:
Reporting to the Head of Software Quality Assurance, you will be the key driver of test automation initiatives, creating the build system and testing framework from scratch for a cloud-based application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build a quality assurance culture, processes to ensure the team deliver the best possible products to customers
• Establish, manage and monitor all quality assurance activity across the software team and report on performance
• Define test scenarios, build test scripts, execute tests, maintain test infrastructure, implement CI/CD processes for software releases, record, track and document bugs
• Aim to ensure that the product is fit for purpose and meets both external and internal requirements
• Monitor and report on the performance of the cloud-based application, verify the QA system is functioning properly and identify improvement opportunities

To succeed in this Quality Assurance Lead role, you must have complete understanding of software testing life cycle along with Agile methodologies along with the ability to design and implement E2E frontend/API test automation frameworks from scratch.

Key Requirements:

• At least five years’ working experience with established Software QA practices
• Track record of building a QA framework and handling automation projects
• Experience developing a quality assurance management strategy, framework, tools and implementation plan for web application platform and services
• Agile mindset, software testing experience on front end applications like JavaScript/AngularJS/Typescript
• Expertise in DevOps/CI-CD integration with test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Cucumber BDD
