Network Automation Engineer(1 year contract)

Our client is on the hunt for a seasoned Senior Network Automation Engineer to bolster their network infrastructure across the APAC region. This role is a unique blend of network design, deployment, automation, and performance optimisation, all while ensuring compliance with global standards. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that encourages knowledge sharing and growth.

What you'll do:

• Maintain and upgrade client's network connectivity across regional offices, exchanges, collocation sites, and clients.
• Design and deploy LAN, WAN, and Data Center networks.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions.
• Lead transformational projects across the APAC region.
• Automate network infrastructure processes using scripting (Python, Perl, Ansible).
• Work closely with central engineering teams to align with global infrastructure standards.
• Document technical solutions and implementation strategies.
• Utilize tools like Zabbix, SolarWinds, WireShark, and SevOne for network analysis and troubleshooting.

What you bring:

• 5+ years in network deployment, with at least 2 years in the finance industry.
• Strong understanding of network architecture (Cisco routers, switches, DWDM, wireless infrastructure).
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, multicast, QoS, VLANs, VRFs, spanning tree, Cisco ISE.
• Experience with network automation (Python, Ansible) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Chef, Puppet).
