IT Helpdesk Engineer (6-months contract, Central)
As an IT Helpdesk Engineer based in Singapore, you will be at the heart of the office’s technical operations. You will work closely with both local colleagues and global teams to facilitate smooth communication and coordination across different time zones.
What You'll Do
- Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support for all endpoint devices used by staff and end users, ensuring prompt resolution of issues to maintain business continuity.
- Assist with daily troubleshooting and maintenance tasks across Windows 11, MacOS clients, and virtual desktop environments, delivering dependable service to all users.
- Diagnose equipment faults, organise safe disposal of outdated hardware, manage orders for new office equipment and supplies, and oversee deliveries efficiently.
- Conduct regular stock takes of IT assets, maintain an orderly storeroom and workplace environment, update floor plan diagrams accurately, and coordinate office or desk moves as needed.
- Support office facilities management responsibilities in collaboration with the global support team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Participate in occasional weekend or early/late night support sessions for system upgrades or urgent user issues as required by the business needs.
What It Takes
- More than 1 year experience in service desk/helpdesk environment
- Prior hands-on experience Windows 11/MacOS, Microsoft Office Applications, virtual desktop environment, network connectivity and other ad-hoc issues.
- Incumbent who is available immediately would be highly preferable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support local and regional end-users
