On behalf of our client, we are seeking a committed Application Support (Global Markets) [Contract] to join their Global Markets division in Singapore. This role presents an opportunity to cultivate advanced IT skills within a leading entity in electronic market activities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting electronic trading tools used by the Rates and Credit business in Asia, with a particular emphasis on Rates.

What you'll do:

As an Application Support (Global Markets) [Contract], your primary responsibility will be to:

• Manage and own P1/P2 incidents and problems from start to finish
• Communicate effectively with internal users and management regarding incidents and post-mortems
• Ensure global uptime target of 99.9% across the entire Rates e-trading platform
• Monitor application status and input/output data accuracy throughout the day
• Perform system administration tasks
• Support traders by troubleshooting and diagnosing functional and technical issues in the production environment

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Application Support (Global Markets) [Contract] role will bring:

• Strong SQL: PL/SQL , Oracle knowledge
• Proficiency in using Windows and Unix commands
• Development skills: Excel macro and VBA is essential. Python, C++, java is advantageous
• Monitoring: Autosys, Geneos
• Knowledgeable in ITIL processes
• Experience with ION Trading softwares (MMI, Sysadmin) is desirable
