About the Application Support (six-month contract) Role:
In this role, you will be part of the front-office team responsible for supporting front-office users and managing production support activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day application support activities and BAU deliveries for in-house Risk Management system
• Crisis/incident management, escalating with appropriate urgency. Ensuring team follow the prescribed incident and problem management process
• Ensure that the team’s service-level agreements for issue resolution and remediation are adhered to
• Proactively pick up and resolve all application issues and business queries from traders, middle office, product control and operations clients
• Be on top of intraday issues and provide quick reply, resolution. Be an independent and strong individual contributor with less reliance on team (post training)
• Minimise downtime/outages/issues of all systems supported by core risk team
• Identify and drive efficiencies in support tasks enabling the support team to be more effective
• Oversee development releases to Production, ensuring stability and maintaining quality and efficiency

To succeed in this Application Support (six-month contract) role, you must have interest or experience with incidence management, troubleshooting tickets, and SQL scripting.

Key Requirements:

• This role is open for graduates or freshers looking to build their career in the banking industry
• Good experience with relational databases (MS-SQL/Oracle) for scripting
• Exposure in Python is good to have
• Experience supporting and managing intraday risk management systems in FX\rates asset classes
• Practical experience with Fixed income products, especially FX, rates and local markets
• Practical understanding of P&L and risk sensitivities and ability to deal with various Front office and back off risk consumers on feed as well data quality issues
• Experience of business and operational processes in the IB risk industry
