Cyber Incident Lead

Our client is a reputable consulting firm, looking for an experienced professional to take on the role of a Cyber Incident Lead.

What you'll do:

• Oversee the end-to-end coordination of high-severity cybersecurity events, ensuring effective communication and response across all impacted teams.
• Act as a liaison between technical responders, executive leadership, legal, compliance, and communications teams during active events.
• Develop, maintain, and improve incident response protocols, escalation processes, and operational workflows.
• Lead and facilitate readiness exercises, such as simulations and scenario-based walkthroughs, with internal stakeholders.
• Provide real-time status reporting and decision support to executive leaders during impactful security events.
• Partner with security operations, threat intel, and risk teams to ensure the organization is prepared to manage significant incidents effectively.
• Contribute to post-incident reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Align security event response plans with business continuity and disaster recovery objectives.

What you'll bring:

• At least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity particulary in incident response and cyber operations.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity incident lifecycle, threat actor tactics, and organizational risk exposure.
• Strong familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and NIST.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical issues into business terms.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive progress under pressure.
