Cybersecurity Operations Lead

Our client is a leading MNC, seeking to hire a Cybersecurity Operations Specialist. They are looking for a highly technical cybersecurity professional to oversee and enhance IT security across the APAC region.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the identification, response, and mitigation of cyber threats and vulnerabilities across the APAC region.
  • Design, deploy, and manage cybersecurity solutions tailored to needs.
  • Develop and execute incident response plans, collaborating with local and global IT security counterparts.
  • Stay ahead of emerging cyber threats and attack vectors, implementing proactive defenses.
  • Oversee the evaluation of security risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and present security incident reports and risk assessments to senior stakeholders.

What you'll bring:

  • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 6 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity/IT security operations (prior regional experience will be an advantage).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills (technical and non-technical).
  • Experience working with security frameworks (NIST/ISO27001 etc).
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, OSCP, or equivalent) preferred.
