Our client is seeking a Cyber Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of their dynamic organisation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive process improvements, manage incidents and risks, coordinate resource allocation, and develop the technical teams' skills.
What you'll do:
As a Cyber Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the operational landscape of our client's organisation. Your primary focus will be on driving process improvements across multiple business units, managing incidents and risks proactively, and coordinating resource allocation effectively.
- Regularly evaluate and review operational processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and alignment with company goals.
- Develop, implement, and monitor process improvement initiatives across multiple business units.
- Proactively manage and resolve operational incidents while identifying potential risks.
- Work closely with the technical department to effectively allocate resources based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with the technical department to identify skill gaps within the team and facilitate training programs.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency.
- Ensure all operations comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Cyber Operations Manager position brings a wealth of experience in operations management within the cybersecurity or IT industry. You have a strong understanding of cybersecurity services, system integration, and project management principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in operations management within the cybersecurity or IT industry.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity services, system integration, and project management principles.
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and manage change effectively.
- Excellent incident and risk management skills.
- Experience in resource allocation with the ability to balance multiple projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment adapting to changing business needs.
