Security Architect
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Architect to lead the development of security reference architectures, design patterns, frameworks, and guardrails. This role will involve managing complex technical security reviews and architecting with multiple stakeholders and dependencies. What you'll do:
As a Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's information security landscape. This role offers a unique chance to engage in high-level technical discussions in API security, Cloud and other Emerging Technology domains with senior stakeholders.
- Lead solutioning partnerships with E level stakeholders from IT and business to define and deliver API, Cloud and new emerging security reference architectures and solutions.
- Keep abreast of the information security trends, security breaches in Telecom and Non-Telecom industries, industry standards (e.g., NIST, CIS etc.), new emerging technology skills.
- Lead development of Security Reference Architectures, Design Patterns, frameworks, and guardrails.
- Manage complex technical security reviews and security architecting with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
- Front complicated technical discussions in API security, Cloud and other Emerging Technology domains with senior stakeholders.
- Mentor Security risk assessors and drive structured threat modelling activities within SDLC lifecycle for key projects.
- Lead information security representation in forums such as Group Architecture Review Board, Solution Review board, change management boards, etc.
- Partner with group risk and influence changes to the security standards, policies and processes.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Security Architect role will bring a wealth of experience in Information Security, specifically in domains such as security architecture and information security risk assessments. Your ability to perform Threat Modelling and security architecture reviews will be crucial to your success in this role.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or its equivalent.
- 8+ years of minimum work experience in Information Security covering domains such as security architecture and information security risk assessments.
- Experience in one or more technology domains API security, Cloud security, Gen AI.
- Experienced in performing Threat Modelling and security architecture reviews.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as NIST, CIS, PCI etc.
- One or more Industry security Certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS, Microsoft Azure preferred.
- Capable of working independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong Stakeholder Management
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple complex project security engagements simultaneously.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
