About the Network Security Engineer Role:
As the Network Security Engineer, you will work with various cybersecurity products (network security, DLP, firewall management, SIEM, PAM, content security (WebGateway/EmailGateway) and support project scoping/planning, implementation and commissioning for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network security solutions using industry-leading firewall technologies, including either two brands or more of the following: Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortigate, and ASA
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand their network security requirements and develop appropriate solutions
• Conduct network security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend necessary improvements
• Conduct proof of concept for network security solutions
• Evaluate and analyse network security products
• Liaise with product vendors

To succeed in this Network Security Engineer role, you will need to have some knowledge and/or working experience in Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortigate, and ASA.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in computer engineering, computer science, information systems or equivalent
• Minimum of three years' relevant work experience in network security implementation and/or operations
• Professional certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE), Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE), or Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security) are highly desirable
• Proven experience in troubleshooting complex network security issues and providing effective solutions
• Familiarity with network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, and load balancers
• Good in document fixes and building knowledge base
• Good skills in writing, communication, and presentation
• Fast learner with self-motivation and independence to acquire knowledge on new security technologies quickly
