They are seeking a Business Development Manager for the APAC region who will work closely with the Head of APAC to implement new business initiatives within large accounts and identify new sales and customer growth opportunities. What you'll do:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in expanding our client's influence in the APAC region. You will work closely with the Head of APAC to identify priority growth areas, develop business development plans, and sell innovative products and services. Your role will involve building commercial business cases to support growth initiatives, acting as the first point of contact for potential clients, researching organisations and individuals for new growth opportunities, driving customer satisfaction, and developing customer relationship strategies.

  • Identify priority growth areas and help develop and implement business development plans.
  • Work with Head of APAC to develop and sell products and services.
  • Set short and medium-term business objectives with the Head of APAC.
  • Build out commercial business cases to support growth initiatives.
  • Act as the first point of contact for new potential clients seeking information on products and services.
  • Research organisations and individuals to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring appropriate handovers of customers between departments.
  • Develop, implement and maintain customer relationship strategy and plan.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role brings extensive experience in generating new business, achieving revenue growth, forging new relationships, creating brand awareness, driving scale-up operations independently, and working in SaaS or PaaS sales or software sales. You possess strong business acumen with a penchant for data and insights. Your excellent negotiation, influencing, interpersonal, presentation skills coupled with proficiency in spoken and written English make you an ideal fit for this role.

  • Extensive experience in generating new business and achieving revenue growth.
  • Ability to forge new relationships quickly and effectively.
  • Experience in creating brand awareness and executing branding activities.
  • Experience in driving scale up operations independently.
  • Experience working in SaaS or PaaS sales or software sales.
  • Strong business acumen with a penchant for data and insights.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
