What you'll do:
As a Senior Project Manager (Contract), you will play a crucial role in driving our client's business evolution journey. Your primary responsibility will be to lead cross-functional teams in the execution of complex projects involving the global implementation of integrated SAP systems and Salesforce. You will develop comprehensive program plans, align technical solutions with business needs, facilitate key meetings, engage stakeholders regularly and evaluate project outcomes post-implementation. Your ability to manage complexity, distil complex information into simple views and communicate effectively will be crucial to your success in this role.
- Function as the program management lead, collaborating cross-functionally to manage all work streams, sub-projects and functions.
- Develop and supervise integrated program plans, ensuring delivery on time, on budget and with specified scope across all functional areas.
- Accountable to the Executive Steering Committee, ensuring necessary processes, structures, resources and governance are in place.
- Align technical solutions with business needs and enhance connectivity of business units, regions and IT solutions/systems.
- Own Program Management deliverables including creating optimal program structure, facilitating workshops and managing program budget.
- Facilitate key program meetings and present updates to steering and executive committees.
- Engage Program Sponsors and stakeholders regularly for input/consultation, communicating any emerging risks and corresponding mitigation plans.
- Evaluate and assess project/program post implementation, presenting key findings/lessons learned to executive leadership.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Project Manager (Contract) role brings a wealth of experience in project management, particularly in leading full life cycle business evolution projects leveraging SAP and/or Salesforce platforms. You have a proven track record in delivering large, complex cross-functional initiatives and implementing SAP or Salesforce in global/regional organizations. Your understanding of sales, manufacturing and/or finance end-to-end processes will be highly valued. Your ability to manage complexity, distil complex information into simple views and communicate effectively sets you apart. Your proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, coupled with your excellent presentation skills, enables you to craft and deliver compelling management messages.
- Minimum 10 years’ project management experience for full life cycle of business evolution projects leveraging SAP and/or Salesforce platform.
- At least 8 years' Program Management / PMO experience delivering large, complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience in implementing SAP or Salesforce in global/regional organizations.
- Good understanding of sales, manufacturing and/or finance end-to-end processes.
- Industry knowledge: preferably discrete or repetitive manufacturing industry. Other non-finance industries like energy, automotive, telecommunications are equally welcome.
- Ability to manage complexity; distil complex information into simple views and communications.
- Excellent presentation skills for project stakeholders and management team.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for crafting and delivering management messages.
- Ability to work with minimum guidance & directions.
- Understanding and experience with agile methodologies
