About the Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager (12 months, extendable) Role:
The incumbent will be part of the Capital Markets IT Team and be responsible for the development and maintenance of market risk applications used by global users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee functional domain expertise and requirements interpretation
• Collaborate with IT business contacts for requirement clarification
• Analyse functional impacts, considering technical limitations with the help of technical leads
• Create and present detailed functional change proposals to development teams
• Generate precise functional specifications and user stories in line with provided Project Manager/Business Analyst requirements
• Facilitate functional testing, strategy development, and support for application incidents, including 2nd level support with codification and data investigation, in coordination with developers

To succeed in this role as a Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager (12 months, extendable), you must be proficient in data modeling and SQL, and have extensive experience in functional testing and validation.

Key Requirements:

• At least five years' experience as a business analyst in an investment bank related organisation within Market Risk department
• Proficiency in data modelling and SQL, and extensive experience in functional testing and validation
• Act as a bridge between onshore IT and offshore technical teams while being the primary functional support for development
• Specialised in Market Risk (P&L, VaR, Stress VaR analysis), and knowledgeable in regulatory frameworks (Basel III, Basel II, Basel I, SIMM, FRTB, CVA)
• Strong grasp of banking, finance, and market data, and skilled in SQL, XML, HTML, and UML
• Added bonus to have product control knowledge and experience in other financial products such as Treasury, FX, Credit, etc.
