A leading global technology provider is seeking a Technical Presales Consultant specialising in Network Security to join their expanding team in Singapore. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to become the trusted technical advisor and strategist for a comprehensive cybersecurity portfolio, including next-generation firewalls, SASE, cloud security, and advanced AI-driven solutions. You will play a pivotal role in transforming enterprise security strategies for different industry.

As a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant in Network Security, you will immerse yourself in client engagements where your ability to architect robust cybersecurity solutions will be central to success. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with internal teams to enable effective selling of advanced network security products while also engaging directly with enterprise customers to understand their unique challenges. You will design tailored solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing infrastructures and present these concepts persuasively to both executive decision-makers and technical audiences. By taking charge of proof-of-concept projects and supporting bid responses with detailed technical documentation, you will help drive adoption of cutting-edge technologies across multiple sectors.

What You'll Do

  • Lead technical pre-sales pursuits across a comprehensive cybersecurity portfolio, positioning the platform as the strategic partner of choice for enterprise clients.
  • Act as the primary technical advisor to internal sales, pre-sales, and consulting teams, enabling them to effectively sell and implement advanced security solutions.
  • Design integrated solution architectures that address complex business challenges using expertise in next-generation firewall technologies, SASE architectures, AI security, SecOps, and cloud security.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders, translating high-level security strategies into actionable technical initiatives.
  • Conduct deep-dive technical discussions, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept exercises to showcase feasibility and business impact.
  • Support bid management processes by developing detailed technical responses for RFIs/RFPs, including bill of materials and comprehensive proposals.
  • Collaborate closely with account managers, marketing teams, and technology partners to align go-to-market strategies and ensure successful deal closure.
  • Take ownership of advanced proof-of-concept testing in strategic accounts to validate proposed solutions and accelerate revenue closure.
  • Advocate for the value proposition of strategic partnerships by building trust with leadership teams and supporting operational excellence throughout the sales cycle.

What You'll Need

  • More than 8 years of regional experience (ASEAN/APAC) in technical sales or pre-sales engineering roles within security vendors, system integrators or managed service providers.
  • Deep knowledge of network security principles with hands-on expertise in Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), particularly Palo Alto Networks technologies. Certified in Palo Alto would be a plus.
  • Extensive experience designing or implementing network and network security solutions
  • Ability to translate complex technical features into clear business value propositions and presentation suitable for C-level stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native application protection platforms (CNAPP) and architecting security for hyperscale environments would be a plus.
  • Familiarity with security operations tools such as Cortex XSIAM/XDR, XSOAR (SOAR), SIEM systems, and related technologies would be a plus.
