Application Support Analyst

We’re partnering with a leading global financial institution to hire an Application Support Analyst to join a regional support function responsible for critical internal systems across multiple business domains.

What you’ll do:

• Provide L1/L2 support for a portfolio of internal applications supporting various business functions
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, service requests, and system issues
• Monitor application health and perform daily system checks to ensure operational readiness
• Analyse logs, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and other technical teams to resolve issues efficiently
• Track and document incidents and resolutions via a ticketing system (e.g. JIRA / ServiceNow)
• Support ongoing improvements in system reliability and support processes
• Participate in shift rotations and on-call support as part of a global team

What we’re looking for:

• At least 4 years of experience in application or production support (L1/L2)
• Hands-on experience handling incidents in a live production environment
• Familiarity with SQL / databases, log analysis, or basic scripting
• Understanding of application environments, deployments, or system architecture
• Experience using ticketing tools for incident management
• Strong troubleshooting mindset with the ability to work across technical teams
• Good communication skills — able to explain technical issues clearly
