What you'll do:
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, your primary responsibility will be infrastructure management and cloud computing. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and EC2 to support applications and services. Your expertise will be vital in configuring network components to optimize network traffic and reduce data transfer costs. You will also be responsible for implementing best practices for security, compliance, and resilience in AWS environments while balancing cost implications. Your ability to automate tasks using various tools will be highly valued. Additionally, you will be expected to stay current with AWS services, industry trends, and best practices.
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and EC2
- Configure and manage network components such as subnets, route tables, and network ACLs
- Implement best practices for security, compliance, and resilience in AWS environments
- Automate tasks and workflows using AWS Lambda, CloudFormation or other relevant tools
- Optimize AWS costs by identifying idle or underutilized resources
