Our client is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT department. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a global operations team, managing data centers and servers, including support to virtualization environments, physical & virtual servers, operating systems, storages, backup & restore, and cloud operations.
What you'll do:
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, monitoring and supporting the infrastructure environment. Your responsibilities will also include diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software and connectivity problems. Ensuring high-quality IT service delivery through proper testing, quality assurance and documentation will be a key part of your role.
- Maintain, monitor and support the infrastructure environment and facilities
- Work on multiple cross-functional base work initiatives and projects
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software and connectivity problems
- Ensure high quality IT service delivery through proper testing, quality assurance and documentation
- Participate in providing accurate budgetary figures for the IT Data Center Manager
- Manage third party services needed to provide IT services according to business requirements
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Infrastructure Engineer position brings a Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science or any other IT variant course level. Technical certifications from main technology vendors such as VMware, Microsoft, Cisco, Nutanix, NetApp, Veeam, Citrix are highly desirable. With 6-8 years of relevant experience in data centers & servers operations under your belt, you are fluent in English and exceptionally well organized with attention to details. Your solid networking and interpersonal skills make you a valuable team player.
