IT Manager

My client is a market leader in the services industry. They are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee and enhance IT operations. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, offering the opportunity to lead a small team and manage key vendor relationships.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting into the Regional IT Manager, your role involves:

• Supervising a team of 1 pax + 2 vendors, leading the management and maintenance of IT services, including network systems, server environments, and hardware, ensuring consistent and reliable performance.
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services and all vendor agreements meet service level expectations.
• Providing direct, hands-on support for day-to-day IT operations, addressing and resolving issues related to infrastructure, network, and systems as they arise.
• Overseeing the deployment, management, and optimization of Microsoft 365 (M365) solutions, ensuring smooth integration and effective user support.
• Collaborating with regional leadership to develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company’s business objectives, focusing on enhancing service delivery and infrastructure capabilities.
• Assisting in the execution of IT projects, including new technology rollouts and system upgrades, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.

Job Requirements

As a successful candidate, you should have:

• At least 5 years in IT infrastructure management, with proven experience in network and server management, and IT service management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a small team while effectively managing relationships with external vendors.
• Strong hands-on experience with M365 implementation and support.
• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, is highly desirable.
• Candidates with experience in large-scale operational environments are preferred.
