Our client is seeking a highly motivated IT Support Engineer with a knack for troubleshooting, analysing, and resolving technical problems. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in providing professional and high-level customer service, ensuring unresolved issues are promptly escalated as per protocol.

What you'll do:

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be at the forefront of managing IT incidents within the incident management system. You will be responsible for providing professional customer service, ensuring any unresolved issues are promptly escalated. Your role will involve repairing and upgrading PC hardware and software, maintaining an inventory of equipment and software licenses, managing the provisioning process of school's IT resources, supporting classroom technology needs, and researching new technologies to enhance IT support processes.

  • Manage IT incidents in the incident management system
  • Provide professional and high-level customer service ensuring unresolved issues are promptly escalated as per protocol
  • Repair and upgrade PC hardware and software, including scheduled maintenances
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and software licences; update computers with latest service packs, patches and applications
  • Manage the provisioning and de-provisioning process of school’s IT resources by engaging staff and students
  • Manage classroom support for IT and Audio Visual (e.g. Apple TV, Projectors, Interactive technology, and applications)
  • Research and investigate new technologies that can help improve IT support and processes

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this IT Support Engineer role will bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills to the table. She will have the ability to think outside the box and apply creative solutions to complex problems. She will demonstrate an ability to establish relationships at all levels, uncover technical issues, facilitate their resolution, while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Familiarity with basic network troubleshooting, Active Directory account management, and Office 365 account administration is essential.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to apply creative solutions
  • Ability to establish relationships and build rapport at all levels
  • Good command of English with clear, concise verbal communication skills
  • High standard of customer service skills with excellent telephone manners
  • Understanding of confidentiality principles
  • Familiarity with basic network troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Active Directory account management
  • Experience with Office 365 account administration
