An exciting Peoplesoft Support Administrator job opportunity has become available at a global financial services company.
About the Peoplesoft Support Administrator Role: This person is required to support the organisation's instance of PeopleSoft financials, to get involved in any new software implementations or upgrades, as well as assist with change requests from the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Support production on delivered and custom modules
Manage system maintenance/housekeeping: security, GL structure and trees, auditing controls, reporting templates including nVision and query, sub-module interfacing, balancing checks
Provide support and development of ad hoc and scheduled reports
Administer applications security
Understand the firm's business processes and reporting requirements
Monitor interactions between various source systems and Peoplesoft
Ensure process and system documentation are up to date
Support and run daily, month-end and year-end procedures
Proactively identify and resolve issues and improve processes
Participate in ad hoc projects
Test systems
Be responsible for public holiday production support
To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience supporting PeopleSoft GL and billing.
Key Requirements:
Diploma/degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent, with at least three to four years of relevant work experience in supporting a PeopleSoft financials system (and or all PeopleSoft Modules AP, EX, GL, AM, AR, and billing is preferred)
Excellent communication and organisational skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work well under pressure
Excellent time management skills and ability to work to strict deadlines
Customer-focused and ability to prioritise, work on or re-assign service and incidence requests
