About the Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer Role:
In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and managing the delivery, performance and life cycle of Enterprise Infrastructure systems, platforms, processes, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and manage routine preventive maintenance and operational activities promptly and effectively for both IT infrastructure and applications
• Install, configure, maintain and upgrade end-user computers, servers, network devices, virtual machines, operating systems and application software
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, such as business, vendors, management and information technology (IT) teams during the implementation and maintenance of a system
• Set up User accounts and workstations, ensure security through access controls
• Ensure the implementation of IT security system that are aligned to corporate IT policies and guidelines
• Provide IT support to local and remote users to resolve hardware and software issues

To succeed in the Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer role, you will need to have a minimum of three years' experience in IT infrastructure or systems engineering roles.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or an IT-related field
• More than three years' technical experience in IT infrastructure or systems engineering
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
• Proficiency with computer hardware, Windows 7/10, networks, Active Directory, VMware virtualisation, Microsoft 365, Dell/Cisco switches/routers
• Experience with Linus Red Hat, Kubernetes, Python, Shell Scripting and Powershell is highly advantageous
• Experience in engaging cross functional business, IT stakeholders and vendors
• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment
