Mainframe Developer (VSAM)

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions for mainframe systems, focusing on data transfer and integration.
• Work with VSAM and other mainframe tools to manage, process, and migrate data efficiently.
• Develop applications to support data migration between mainframe sources and external platforms.
• Collaborate with clients to understand technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance data workflows for high-volume enterprise environments.
• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support the integration of mainframe data with enterprise-level systems.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in mainframe development, with hands-on expertise in VSAM.
• Strong programming skills in COBOL, JCL, or similar mainframe languages.
• Experience in data migration and integration from mainframe systems to external platforms.
• Familiarity with enterprise database systems or ERP solutions.
• Industry experience in banking, supply chain, or manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows for performance and reliability.
