Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the performance of an application support team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective task delegation.
- Oversee the application lifecycle, focusing on Level 2 production support and troubleshooting application issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment with stakeholders in Singapore and Taiwan.
- Ensure compliance with MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore) guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Drive improvements through system enhancements and digitalization projects.
- Support new projects and automations, providing leadership and technical guidance.
- Provide a broad understanding of the trading cycle and the protocols used for trading systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
Key Requirements
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage and mentor a team, with strong people management skills and the ability to delegate tasks effectively.
- Technical Foundation: Basic understanding of SDLC and prior software development experience to support troubleshooting and technical discussions.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with MAS guidelines and compliance requirements in financial services.
- Application Support Experience: Extensive experience in L2 production support, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Financial Services Background: Experience in financial institutions, with a preference for candidates from brokerage or asset management firms.
- Trading Systems Knowledge: Broad understanding of the trading cycle and trading-related protocols.
