Our client, a leading player in the financial services sector, is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with expertise in C# and SQL. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for supporting the development, testing, and delivery of all systems supported by the IT Development Team.
What you'll do:
As a Full Stack Developer, your role will be pivotal in supporting the development, testing, and delivery of all systems. You will develop programmes and processes for internally developed IT systems to deliver efficient business processes. Your ability to produce and maintain documentation describing functionality, data flow, and processes of systems will be crucial. You will also work on IT solutions that implement various business processes. Your collaborative nature will enable you to work closely with your team to improve processes to meet strategic business objectives.
- Develop programmes and processes for internally developed IT systems.
- Produce and maintain documentation describing functionality, data flow, and processes of systems.
- Work on IT solutions that implement business processes such as trade order management, client reporting, data warehouse, risk reporting, month end processing and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure connectivity between systems and databases integrating third party data sources and systems.
- Work collaboratively with team to improve processes to meet strategic business objectives.
- Maintain system development work plan as agreed with the Systems Group.
- Be familiar with regulatory standards for system and data security.
What you bring:
The ideal Full Stack Developer brings a minimum of 10 years of programming experience using SQL Server Management Studio 2014 or higher/ T-SQL. You have prior experience working in an Investment Management environment preferably Fixed Income. Your comfortability with writing complex queries, views, functions and stored procedures is essential. Your ability to develop and maintain reports using SQL server reporting services (SSRS) is crucial. You are familiar with ETL concepts and have experience in building packages using SQL server integration services (SSIS). Your front-end development experience in C# and WinForms is significant.
