Our client, a top-ranking bank with an international profile, is seeking a Docker Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for the administration of Kubernetes Clusters across various locations. What you'll do:

As a Docker Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our client's Kubernetes clusters. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include troubleshooting issues related to the Kubernetes cluster and applications, monitoring cluster health, managing obsolescence, and remediating vulnerabilities. You will also propose automation solutions to enhance system availability, productivity, and performance. Furthermore, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of the production environment by redesigning legacy applications for container implementation.

  • Administer Kubernetes platform and ensure its uptime and performance.
  • Troubleshoot incidents/problems related to Kubernetes cluster & applications.
  • Monitor cluster health using standard monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
  • Manage obsolescence & remediate vulnerabilities in close collaboration with vendors.
  • Identify and propose automation wherever possible to improve system availability, productivity, and performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the production environment by redesigning legacy applications for container implementation.

What you bring:

The ideal Docker Engineer candidate brings a wealth of IT experience, particularly in Kubernetes administration. The ideal candidate holds a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification and has hands-on experience with container image life cycle management, container storage management, and automation using helm charts. The ideal candidate possesses good knowledge of network topologies, container networking, and monitoring using tools like Prometheus or Dynatrace. Experience with automation/configuration management using Terraform or Ansible is essential. A strong background in Linux/Unix Administration is also required.

  • Minimum of 5 years IT experience with at least 2 years in Kubernetes administration
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification
  • Hands-on experience with Container image life cycle management (test, patch, deploy), Container storage management, Automation using helm charts.
  • Good knowledge of Network topologies & container networking & Monitoring using Prometheus / Dynatrace
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using Terraform or Ansible
  • Strong background in Linux / Unix Administration
