About the Senior Java and Testing Developer (12 months, extendable) Role:
The incumbent will partner and support core banking flagships and work on large scale development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficient in independently creating automated test solutions using cucumber and selenium
• Coordination with application support (BA and developers) and other testing colleagues to establish an automation test suite
• Prepare detailed documentation for each automated test process
• Develop and build IT solutions aligned with business requirements, ensuring proper adherence to technical design specifications and documented processes
• Actively engage in research and development initiatives, with a focus on delivering high-standard and production outcomes

To succeed in this Senior Java and Testing Developer (12 months, extendable) role, you must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Key Requirements:

• At least eight years of software development experience
• At least four years of experience working with automation testing solutions
• Expertise in defining tests using Cucumber and Selenium, with practical experience in BDD automation frameworks
• Familiarity with build tools (Maven/sbt/ant), UML, Restful web services, Jenkins/Team City, and source management (SVN/GIT), as well as TDD using JUnit and issue tracking tools (Jira/QC)
• Added bonus to have knowledge of Big Data environments, with a basic understanding of finance and investment banking
• Ability to work independently and reliably while performing duties and maintaining communication with the team
