About the Staff Software Engineer (Java) Role:
In this business critical Staff Software Engineer (Java) role, you will be part of an established team focusing on supporting the clients in the development of a product platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solid Technical Skills: Demonstrate strong technical background and proficiency in relevant programming languages, tools, and technologies to address technical challenges effectively
• Effective Communication with Business: Communicate with non-technical stakeholders, understand business requirements, and translate them into technical solutions
• Design and Delivery of Back-end Systems: Design and deliver back-end systems, including module division, interface design, data flow, and coding to align with business objectives
• Technology Stack Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate technology stacks, frameworks, and tools based on system reliability, performance, and scalability considerations, and integrating them seamlessly
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of three to five individuals, providing technical guidance, participating in coding, resolving architectural issues, and ensuring system quality and maintainability. Also, manage and mitigate technical project risks

You must have experience with Java, Python, and Springboot to succeed in this role.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
• Strong technical skills in Java, Python, and SpringBoot
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience, with a preference for experience in the gaming industry
• Selection of appropriate technology stacks, including Flink CDC, Kafka, Hbase, and more, for system reliability and scalability
• Leadership of a three to five person delivery team, offering technical guidance and maintaining system quality
• Expertise in DevOps practices, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
• Utilisation of task scheduling components like XXL-JOB for project implementation
