An Application Deployment & Support Specialist (12-months, extendable) role has just become available at one of the global banks in Singapore.

About the Role:
The incumbent will be primarily deploying software in Integration and UAT environments and delivering L1/L2 technical support for the bank's global core banking ecosystem. He/she would also be collaborating closely with project stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of multi-year roadmap projects, encompassing Strategic, Tactical, and Regulatory initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for deploying and providing level 1 and 2 support during System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production implementation of the bank's core banking system across Asia, Europe, Middle East, and Africa
• Manage UAT issues and user inquiries, ensuring effective incident communication, root cause analysis, and permanent resolution
• Regularly engage with development teams, escalate critical queries when necessary, and contribute to efficient query resolution
• Monitor batches to ensure timely incident resolution and maintain system stability
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhance DevOps tools, and maintain documentation for installation instructions, technical procedures, and release procedures. Serve as a point of contact for release activities and coordinate with stakeholders for worldwide release roll-outs

To succeed in this role as a Application Deployment & Support Specialist (12-months, extendable), he/she should have:

Key Requirements:

• Should have a related diploma (IT, Finance) with up to 6 years of experience in application deployment and support, and exposure to the banking industry
• Proficient in Java, SQL, UNIX, Shell scripting, and Jetty, with hands-on experience in RDBMS Oracle 12/19, PL/SQL, and Control M
• Skilled in Docker EE, Kubernetes, and Argo CD, with exposure to DevOps tools like Jenkins and Master Deploy
• Familiarity with Elastic search (KIBANA), Grafana, and advantageous exposure to data warehousing, business intelligence tools like SAP Business Objects, and ETL tools
• Well-versed in all phases of the system development and implementation lifecycle (SDLC)
• Advantageous to have exposure to data warehousing, business intelligence tools, and ETL tools
