Production Support - DevOps

About the Production Support - DevOps Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for operations and support management of Data Middleware infrastructure in coordination with other Technology team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage production stability, safety and soundness of infrastructure data middleware namely Confluent KAFKA, TIBCO EMS, Business Works, SOLACE PubSub+,IBM MQ, RabbitMQ and RedHat PAM
• Partner with business and development teams to build, deploy and operate best-in-class data middleware solutions
• Ensure requirements/tasks from technology departments and/or end users are communicated to stakeholders
• Provide solutions and processes in accordance with audit initiatives and requirements and consult with Business Information Security officers (BISOs) and TISOs
• Exhibit in-depth understanding of engineering concepts and principles in data middleware pattern and tools
• Assist with training activities and mentor junior team members
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the organisation, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

To succeed in the Production Support - DevOps job, you will need the ability work effectively with professionals in the internal matrix, has excellent communication skill and has the accountability to make responsible decisions.

Key Requirements:

• Four to six years of relevant experience in a production operations and administration role
• Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
• Subject matter expert for TIBCO EMS, Business Works. Skills on other products like Confluent KAFKA, SOLACE PubSub+, TIBCO, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ and RedHat PAM
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or production operations settings
• Experience in Devops or SRE practices - AIOps, IaaC, CICD
• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and take ownership of practices in production operations
• Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
• Proven track record of operational process changes and improvement
