Job Responsibilities:
As part of this role, you will:
- Collaborate with the game operations team to collect, extract, model, and analyze game data, driving insights that enhance the gaming experience.
- Develop and maintain robust data platforms, including data warehouses, algorithm platforms, BI platforms, and experimental environments that support the company’s analytical needs.
- Handle large volumes of data by building efficient data pipelines, with a primary focus on offline systems rather than real-time processing.
- Collaborate with teams in Singapore and China to ensure data privacy compliance and contribute to the company’s overall data governance framework.
Job Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Strong experience with offline data processing systems, with tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Airflow being essential for managing and processing large datasets efficiently.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala, which is crucial for writing and maintaining data processing scripts.
- Knowledge of the Linux operating system is advantageous for deploying and managing applications in data engineering environments.
- A strong sensitivity to data and the ability to leverage it for making informed business decisions.
