Data Engineer

An exciting Data Engineer job has become available at a unique social app company for real estate based in USA with a presence in Hong Kong and Singapore.

About the Data Engineer Role:
The Data Engineer role is responsible for the collection, management, analysis and distribution of all the internal data and third-party data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own data platform for the entire company
• Build scalable data platform with high-quality data
• Work with various teams (i.e. AI/ML, data science, data insights, product) on their data needs
• Maintain current data infrastructure and build scalable infrastructure
• Manage advanced visualisations to depict product and operational performance metrics

To succeed in this Data Engineer role, you will need to have at least two years of data engineering experience.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering or a related disciple
• Well experienced in SQL, Python
• Excellent in data pipelines for unstructured and semi-structured data
• Familiar with handling JSON, XML or Clickstream data
• Good with version control software such as Git
• Experience with social media or start-up companies is a plus
