About the Head of Innovation Role:
This an exciting opportunity to work with a leading organisation within the supply chain industry. They are looking to hire a Head of Innovation. This role requires you to automate processes and explore new technology in the data analytics area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, designing, and implementing organisation-wide innovation initiatives like automation and improving overall processes
• Working with internal and external teams to identify opportunities to streamline along with presenting analytical insights on the current technology tools used
• Leading the technology-focused initiatives that align with the business objectives
• Developing and implementing technology strategies to optimise logistics operations, increase efficiency, and reduce costs
• Leveraging data analysis to provide insights and recommendations to the executive team, supporting strategic decision-making
• Overseeing the implementation of new technologies, working closely with the IT team to ensure successful integration and adoption

To succeed in this Head of Innovation role, you will need to have at least 10 years of experience.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience in data and analytics is good to have along with exposure to BI tools
• Experience in automation is required to help in process improvement
• Team management experience and knowledge on SAP side is needed
• Six Sigma green belt certification, with a deep understanding of Lean principles and methodologies
• Proven track record of implementing innovative technology solutions in the logistics industry, with experience in warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, and supply chain optimisation
