About the BI Engineer - Power BI/Tableau Role:
This is a technology solutions provider with strong presence within the region. They are looking to hire a BI Engineer - Power BI/Tableau.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing ETL jobs based on requirements from source to Data Lake platforms
- Performing code reviews developed by other team members
- Working with internal teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and advise them accordingly
- Providing production and operations support after production deployment
- Identifying improvement opportunities for key ETL processes
To succeed in this BI Engineer - Power BI/Tableau role, you will need to have around four years of experience.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent
- Hands-on experience in BI tools (Power BI or Tableau)
- Hands-on development experience across ETL tools - Informatica, PowerBI or Tableau
- Experience with data warehouse concepts, data modelling and data normalisation
- Hands-on experience in MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, Hortonworks/Cloudera, ELK
- Experience in Spark, Python and SQL
