About the Sales Force Effectiveness & Commercial Excellence Manager/Head role:
You will be tasked to provide business development support to the Regional Head, including but not limited to, providing insights and competitive intelligence activity and process, dissemination of business intelligence to Management Board members, contributing to strategic planning processes and ensuring all sales activities are at optimal efficiency level.
This business-critical position reports directly to the Regional Head and closely cooperates with the In-Country General Managers. You will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the region's mission, goals, priorities and strategies, and then translate them as such so that the countries understand their role in achieving them.
- Defining and leading sales efficiency indicators (KPIs) through appropriate analysis between sales and marketing and manage projects across functions to integrate regional projects
- Create the mechanisms and processes to capture, analyse and use market level data to better understand the current competitive environment; identify attractive growth opportunities and new customer targets and create value propositions to support and build competitive advantage in cooperation with country/regional marketing and sales team
- Develop detailed understanding of the marketing and sales strategies and implementation plans for the year
- Identify opportunities for improvement (processes, structure, systems) and support the countries in the subsequent planning and execution of the commercial strategies/tactics
- Identify business development initiatives for the South Asia countries and involved in bringing in new businesses
To be successful in this Sales Force Effectiveness & Commercial Excellence Manager/Head position, you will need competencies in project management, negotiation, sales training, communication and presentation, as well as budgeting and financial control.
- Possess at least a degree in Life Sciences or Business-related
- Minimum eight years' experience in health-care sales, sales management, or commercial excellence
- Familiar with market development - marketing planning, programming and implementation
- Possess strong analytical skills and forward planning
- Experience in proposal development, risk assessment, and commercial strategy development
- Proven leadership, coaching and teamwork skills
- Ability to drive high-level initiatives and change across the organisation
- Strategic thinker combined with tactical project planning and management skills
