Our client is seeking a Senior Director for their manufacturing division, based in Singapore. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful difference to patients around the world by leading the creation of innovative medical devices. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from $280,000 to $330,000 plus bonus.
What you'll do:
As a Senior Director in Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in transforming patient's lives through the creation of innovative medical devices. You will have overall responsibility for directing team members and overseeing manufacturing activities. Your role will involve developing systems, planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending changes to methods. You will also be responsible for developing a robust talent development strategy and succession planning in line with functional growth strategies across the organisation.
* Direct team members and oversee manufacturing activities including planning, staffing, budgeting, and managing expense priorities.
* Develop robust talent development and succession planning strategies.
* Collaborate with network leadership to develop operational strategy.
* Set and lead the implementation of strategic processes that align with key business strategies.
* Oversee the implementation of multiple strategic manufacturing project portfolios activities.
* Identify and lead efforts to optimise business processes.
* Responsible for meeting operational performance and strategic objectives.
* Drive a value stream mindset and culture of continuous improvement based on lean and Six Sigma principles.
What you bring:
As the Senior Director - Manufacturing, you bring a wealth of experience in operations management within regulated industries plus extensive people stream / management experience as your headcount responsibilities will exceed 700 head count.
Your proven track record in project management leadership sets you apart from others. You are proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, as well as various manufacturing systems. Your excellent documentation and communication skills enable you to negotiate effectively and manage relationships at all levels. With an expert understanding of manufacturing procedures, you are adept at looking beyond existing methodologies to define and resolve complex problems.
* Bachelor's Degree in related field
* Demonstrated track record in operations management.
* Experience working in a regulated industry and managing Government entities
* Proven successful project management leadership skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and manufacturing systems.
* Excellent documentation and communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills.
* Expert understanding of manufacturing procedures.
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and Six Sigma.
