About the Practice Support Coordinator (Seven-Month Contract) Role:
Your key responsibility will be to provide full secretarial and administration support to the team.
Assist with matter management processes, including AML processes; draft and maintain engagement letters; manage associate checklists; update folders; handle matter project administration and meetings.
Manage matter balance reports and client weekly fee updates, and facilitate all working capital activities.
Organize and attend monthly meetings, handle billing and collection tasks, and dispatch invoices.
Support partners and teams with activities such as amending business development and client-focused materials, monitoring business development collateral, managing events, and facilitating client updates.
Provide overall team support for document production and DPU liaison, including proofreading and amending legal documents.
Manage complex travel arrangements, prepare itineraries, reserve hotel venues and restaurants, and arrange work desks.
Participate in ad-hoc duties as needed.
Qualified bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a law firm.
Have experience with iManage/Filesite or other document management systems (preferred).
Be able to work independently, take initiative, maintain a polite and positive working attitude.
Possess a strong sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills.
Have an excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
