A well established organisation is seeking a Temporary Administrative Support professional with reception duties to support its office operations, on a 4 months contract position. This role offers the opportunity to be the first point of contact for visitors while providing essential administrative support to the wider team in a professional office environment.

What you’ll do:

As a Temporary Administrative Support professional, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth day to day office operations while delivering a welcoming front desk experience.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, greeting guests professionally and directing enquiries appropriately.
  • Manage reception duties including answering incoming calls, handling emails, and coordinating visitor access and meeting room bookings.
  • Provide general administrative support such as data entry, document preparation, filing, and maintaining organised digital and physical records.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare meeting rooms, and assist with scheduling and calendar arrangements.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries efficiently.
  • Support office administration tasks including monitoring office supplies, placing orders, and liaising with vendors or building management when required.
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception and common areas at all times.
  • Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks to support business needs as they arise.

You bring a service oriented mindset, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage both front facing and behind the scenes responsibilities with confidence.

  • Previous experience in an administrative support or reception role within an office environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional and courteous manner.
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to work independently while supporting a wider team.
