An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Office Manager to join a dynamic team in Singapore at a top tier international law firm. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of managing day-to-day administrative operations. The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with functional directors and managers in regional offices, implement firm-wide policies, and contribute to office improvement plans.

What you'll do:

As an Office Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the day-to-day administrative operations of our Singapore office. You will work closely with functional directors and managers in regional offices, providing them with necessary assistance. You will also review administration team resources, assign jobs, implement firm-wide policies, produce office improvement plans, handle space planning, office build out and renovations. Your role will also involve mentoring legal secretaries, liaising with local government authorities for various registration and licensing annually. You will handle new joiner inductions, ACRA registrations, budgetary matters and cost controls for the Singapore Office.

  • Manage day-to-day office administrative operations ensuring smooth running of the office
  • Work closely and provide assistance to functional directors and managers in regional offices
  • Review administration team resources and job assignments
  • Implement Lawyers’ Manual, Staff Manual and other Firm-wide policies
  • Produce office improvement plans and handle space planning, office build out and renovations
  • Mentor and supervise legal secretaries, liaise with local government authorities for various registration and licensing annually
  • Handle new joiner inductions, ACRA registrations, budgetary matters and cost controls for the Singapore Office
  • Monitor suppliers and relevant contract management to ensure compliance with the Firm’s procurement policy
  • Plan and execute all office activities and social events

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Office Manager role will be a degree holder in management or equivalent, with at least 5 years of related management experience. Experience in a law firm or other professional services environment would be advantageous. You will have strong communication skills in both oral and written English, and strong technical skills in human resources. Your leadership, people and project management skills will be essential for this role. We are looking for someone who is proactive, innovative and solutions oriented. Excellent interpersonal skills, team-first orientation and strong collaboration skills are also required.
