Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring for a Sales Effectiveness Manager (ASEAN) to support AWS ASEAN Team in achieving its strategic & growth priorities. AWS is growing rapidly with hundreds of thousands of companies in over 190 countries on the platform. This growth is driving the need for an experienced leader on the ASEAN team to fill a high impact role. You are responsible for understanding the sales team requirements and gaps to develop and execute enablement initiatives.
Sales Effectiveness Manager (ASEAN) Role:
You are responsible for understanding the sales team requirements and gaps to develop and execute enablement initiatives. The objective of field enablement team is to a) accelerate new employee time to ramp, b) continuously raise the bar for Amazonians, to help their customers be successful, c) accelerate growth through scaling mechanisms and programs and d) to improve sales productivity & effectiveness. This involves hands-on and end to end execution of programs, which are relevant & easy for the sales team to absorb and apply the knowledge and skills.
You will work with several cross-functional teams like Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Solution Architects and the Partner team.
- Translate field requirements & gaps to develop and execute enablement programs end-to-end
- Multiple projects in parallel, effectively with timely completion and tracking
- Leverage tools and technology to execute scalable programs
- Identify & coordinate with appropriate internal & external speakers
- Program management, communications support, event coordination and hands-on execution of various initiatives
- Work with Global and Asia Pacific enablement team to develop content & execute programs
- Regular feedback mechanism from internal customers
- Measuring effectiveness of enablement initiatives
To succeed in the role, you must have a good Bachelor's degree with passion for technology.
- Min 10 years' sales/ sales excellence experience in a technology company
- Experience mentoring or coaching sales team in a technology company
- Experience in Sales, Program or Project Management
- Ability to thrive in a fast pace and changing environment
- Proficient in using technology and tools to manage and scale the programs
- Proactive, Passionate and detailed oriented with good interpersonal & communication skills
- MBA or equivalent relevant business experience
- Sales Excellence experience who enjoys making others successful
