You will play a central role in communicating market trends back to global teams while also delivering impactful training sessions that empower both internal colleagues and external stakeholders. By collaborating across departments such as marketing, culinary services, product management, and aftermarket support, you will help craft bespoke solutions that meet diverse customer needs. Your ability to manage pricing programmes effectively ensures competitiveness in the marketplace while supporting long-term business growth through strategic relationship-building.
- Develop comprehensive regional sales strategies designed to achieve ambitious financial objectives while adapting plans based on performance metrics.
- Monitor sales results closely and implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with distributors, consultants, authorised service providers, factories, and other key stakeholders throughout the region.
- Act as the go-to expert for all product lines within your remit by providing in-depth support to internal sales teams and external partners alike.
- Collaborate with global product line teams to communicate evolving market needs and deliver valuable competitive intelligence that shapes future offerings.
- Design and deliver targeted training programmes for both internal staff and external partners using sales tools, benchmarks, and real-world case studies.
- Develop effective regional pricing strategies while negotiating mutually beneficial programmes with customers and partners to maximise profitability.
- Maintain up-to-date price lists for the region ensuring accuracy in distribution among all relevant parties.
- Work seamlessly with Product Management, Marketing, Culinary & Aftermarket Service teams to provide tailored solutions that address specific customer requirements.
- Oversee the planning and execution of demand generation activities aimed at both local and international end-customers.
What you bring:
To excel as a Regional Sales Manager in this organisation, you will bring extensive experience managing complex sales cycles across multiple geographies along with a deep appreciation for collaborative teamwork. Your proven ability to develop actionable strategies will be complemented by your skill at nurturing relationships—whether it’s guiding distributors through new product launches or supporting colleagues during cross-departmental projects. You’ll demonstrate empathy when listening to customer feedback or coaching team members during training sessions. Your attention to detail ensures pricing accuracy while your adaptability allows you to thrive amid changing market conditions. A background in hospitality or culinary operations would further enhance your effectiveness in understanding client needs within this sector.
- Demonstrated experience in sales management within a regional or multi-country context spanning at least ten years or equivalent practical exposure.
- Proven track record of successfully developing sales strategies that result in measurable revenue growth across complex markets.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships with channel partners, distributors, consultants, and internal teams alike.
- Strong negotiation abilities combined with sound business acumen allowing you to create win-win pricing agreements with customers and partners.
- Comprehensive understanding of industry trends coupled with the ability to gather market intelligence that informs strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—enabling you to deliver clear training sessions as well as articulate feedback from the field.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office software suite for reporting, analysis, presentations, and day-to-day operations.
- Experience designing or delivering training programmes tailored for diverse audiences within the sales ecosystem.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) including non-traditional hours for meetings or events as required by customer needs.
- Background in culinary or kitchen operations is highly regarded but not essential; hospitality sector experience is considered an asset.
